During a school night last week, my daughter Kayla and I decided to make some sweets...  Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies and Puppy Chow.  We were able to nibble them away that night, but lucky me I made double batch so that's way we still have some of them to nibble on.

I did it!!!

OMG!!! I was right to get this recipe from Pip and Ebby's adaptation of Candy Bar Fudge. For me, I'd call it "Homemade Snickers Bar"!!!

It was the MOST easy and effective way to make it!!  Thanks to Pip and Ebby's!

Step 1 mix peanut butter and milk chocolate chip (Top left)
Step 2 mix marshmallow creme, vanilla, sugar, peanut butter, evaporated milk and peanuts
(Top and bottom right)
Step 3 melt caramel and evaporated milk (Bottom left)

Layer 1 (Top left with Step 1)
Layer 2 (Top right with Step 2)
Layer 3 (Bottom left with Step 3)
Layer 4 (Bottom right with repeated Step 1)

Yummy!!! Yes, the bite part is from my mouth!!

Where to find this recipe??

School's already started.. I am way behind.....

HELLO!!!!!!!  Yes, I am back at last.  What a year!  My firstborn Lori Lynn had graduated from high school and is already doing well as a freshman at Gallaudet University. She plays for the position as a mid-fielder for Gallaudet Women's Soccer Team. They're fresh young and struggle for a first win since the season started. Ariana is now a junior in the high school at Model Secondary School for the Deaf. She will travel with her volleyball team to Austin, Texas to play in the Spikeout Tournament at Texas School for the Deaf.
Kayla is now a 7th grader at Elkhorn Middle School.  She seems to be doing good. She loves Cosplay! Don't ask me what it is.  I am still learning what it is all about!  She loves to dress up all the time!  I think she is a true fashionista!

I am looking forward to making desserts again at this time of the year!!! Fall is nearly here!!!  Apple Crisp, Pumpkin Pie, Roast Beef and many more!!!

My plan is to make this sound-too-good-to-be-delicious Candy Bar Fudge!!!!  I found this amazing recipe from Pip & Ebby (http://www.pipandebby.com/pip-ebby/2012/12/10/candy-bar-fudge.html). You must check out their website for many different delicious recipes. I'll be sure to post pictures once I finish making them over the weekend!!!

Dec. 27

Hi everybody!!!   I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!  I sure did because being with family is the best feeling! We had a short trip down to St. Louis seeing my family as my girls' flight was cancelled due to weather last Thursday and they end up flying to different destination that way they are with us. I am actually from St. Louis and thought it would be perfect timing to see family by picking the girls up at the airport down there. Then back home and had do the grocery shopping which was too much for me!  On Christmas eve and day,  it was wonderful seeing the family members at my house where I was actually under stress getting all the food ready!   My dog, Fudge kept following me around the house because he knew I was cooking a ham!

Here are the sweets I made that I found recipes from several websites!  Can't resist Pinterest, really!!!
