Christmas Cookies Exchange 2012

Hi!!!

I had the opportunity in co-hosting 2012 Christmas Cookies Exchange party with my wonderful friend Belinda at my house. We had 6 other delightful ladies who came over and exchanged the cookies as well as the laughter!   Their cookies were unbelievably delicious!!!  Thanks to those sharing the recipes of all cookies!   I am looking forward to next year 2013 Christmas Cookies Exchange to be held at my amazing sister-in-law Bonnie's place!   I had to post the pictures of their cookies and my very first Egg Nog cupcakes! Yes, that's right!!!!  Frosting was not working out as I wanted to, but lucky for the ready made frosting I bought and used on the cupcakes!!!

Hi!!!  

I apologized for not being in touch lately. Just so much things going on! I never get to make cupcake over Thanksgiving due to illness in the family...

Thanksgiving was fabulous!  It was great seeing all other family members and the children are growing too fast!  Pictures, pictures are just a MUST!

However, I got to make Panama Spongecake(aka. Tres Leches which means 3 milk).  I made it from the website that my daughter Kayla researched for her Social Studies class on Panama and its food culture. She chose this and had me made it for her class. Her class ate the whole of the cake and leave nothing for me and her daddy!  I'll most definitely going to make it again for my two other daughters who will be home for Christmas break!    Enjoy this recipe from the link below!

Thanksgiving day is just a couple days away!
What are you most thankful for? I have zillions of thankfuls, but I'll keep to few ones for now.
I am the most thankful for my health, family, friends and CUPCAKES!

I'll be most definitely busy making all the food and DESSERTS!!!  I intend to make some cupcakes for Thanksgiving day to share with my family. I'll be blogging about this cupcake I will be making and taking a couple pictures of it. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Cool ideas!!!

Hi again!!!

Yes, it has been a while since I blogged.  Well, this is only 3rd post I've done. I hope you will consider to post some comment or share ideas or receipes with me.

DC Cupcakes aka Georgetown Cupcakes

Hi all!

I have gone to the Georgetown Cupcake located in Georgetown, District of Columbia several times when I visited my daughters.  The cupcakes there are brilliantly delicious.  Every cupcake is designed beautifully.  They offer different season cupcakes monthly which just make it more exciting to visit there when I get the chance.  For example, October month is the month you can get Pumpkin Spice and it tasted so GOOD! Last August, I went and got the Banana Split(that's right not an ice ceam you'd imagined)cupcake. Boy, I sure got the surprise from the inside of the cupcake!  Too good not to try!

They offer shipping. So you gotta order them by a dozen or more!!!
